I am worried - somebody convinced me to sign up for the half in Red Deer on May 22. I ran 19 km on Sunday and nearly collapsed... I am not in shape! Mental support anyone? |

| Don't worry I am sure it will be fine! There should be enough time to improve before then. Someone I know who is over 60 ran the Flora marathon without going furthur than 6 miles in practice and they made it! | |

| Thanks for the encouragement! I think I'm going to need it. I did a long run this weekend (21 km) that felt better so I should be okay. I just have to make sure I don't go out too hard, or I'll crash half way through. | |

Well I finished without any major problems. Felt a bit long of course, but it was a great workout. Results available at http://www.reddeermarathon.org/
