| I am a high school cross country runner. I have trouble with bouncing up instead of running straight forward in the middle of races. Any suggestions on how to fix this? | |

| I know for myself, concentrating on taking shorter strides seems to help....keeps your feet closer to the ground. | |

| DEEDUB we are ONE IN THE SAME. I am tall, have long strides - I HAVE WORKED ON IT SO HARD. Run on your TOES - like all the time. ANd in workouts - run on toes w/short stride/ good form UP ALL HILLS - easy on heels down hills to not hurt body. BUT IN RACES - do not be afraid - go crazy and open up those long bouncy legs of yours on the DOWNHILLS. yeah. | |
