I am training for the Marine Corps Marathon and my legs are plain and simply worn out. Whenever i do training runs they are tired and feel stiff. I have tried replacing running with indoor spinning classes. This reduces the stress on the legs. I can do this without too much effort. None the less, when I get back on the roads to run, they are tired. Does this mean I should back off of running totally and just rest for three or four days?
I expect to do well in the marathon so I need to be strong. suggestions from veteran runners appreciated. thanks, the RUNNERnull |
